This is the boxed 27MHz unit that Extreme RC was kind enough to forward. We begin our tour with the Extreme 4x4 truck. So, please grab a snack, kick back and enjoy the ride. This will be my first car review and it'll be a doubleheader. It also opened the door for me to become an author for the better part of six years. That didn't deter me from getting into bigger, faster models and eventually into planes and helicopters. Speaking of roots, I'm returning to mine with this review since my own start in the hobby was in about 1987 with a second-hand RTR with no parts availability. It was an unexpected and pleasant surprise and given the cost of both models and shipping, I felt obligated to return the favor with this review. One truck and one car were in the factory packaging the others were new but unboxed and I presume they were intended as either sales samples or warranty replacements. Thanks to Ariel Woolf at Extreme RC by RSi, two each of these neat little cars were sent along with two of the aforementioned helicopters. Please give a warm welcome to the Extreme 4x4 twin-motored offroad truck and the Extreme 2.4G Drift Car, an onroad 4x4 drifter with some "fast and furious" roots. Jason had a hand in the upgrading of one of the models I'm about to present and is lending that hand to the second model. Lead technician Jason VanLoo is the guy who can aid any beginner through a technical issue and for good reason. In turn, Extreme RC backs their models with world-class customer service, a 60-day warranty and a full line of inexpensive parts handled through warehouse manager Nicole Burke. The models as well as their other point-of sale promotions are in turn displayed rather prominently near checkout. Bruselof's assistant, Ariel Woolf sell not to discount stores and hobby shops but rather convenience stores and supermarkets. Founder Bert Bruselof, his business partner Mike Steingold and Mr. It's brilliantly marketed by Extreme RC by RSi of Ferndale, Michigan USA. One such example is the Extreme RC S-8G coaxial helicopter I reviewed on behalf of Circle K Stores.

These are, after all, the stepping stones through which a young R/C enthusiast can learn on and later advance to more sophisticated models. I have to start right off the bat and say how much I enjoy doing reviews of simple beginner's models and even the occasional toy-grade model.
